Hello All,

I have just joined the group here. My wife and I are full time RVers and needed a more suitable tow behind vehicle. We wanted something simple, no computer, manual transmission, carbonated and a truck or something that could be more useful than a small car.

A couple of days ago a 1985 Ford Ranger showed up in the ads and we went and looked at it yesterday and came home with it.

For it's age the body is very clean. It's a New Mexico truck so very little rust, although the dash is really bad. We are at 5000 feet here and it is really low in power. I wonder if it has the 2.0 in it?

Today I plan on digging into changing fluids etc.

I will probably have questions for you and will try to contribute where I can.
