Last Ranger

Been consulting Ranger Forums for awhile and finally decided to sign up and post. Am recently retired and hoping to make my 2002 2wd XL stripple (3rd Ranger since 1984) last well past the 108k miles on the odo. She's worn some with a little gear oil seeping at the pinion seal and a drop or two from (I think) the RMB seal. Otherwise, runs great and still getting 17-18 mpg in town and 21-24+ on the hwy. (18-19 towing boat). Contemplating a ball joint R & R and just posted a question about replacement parts. Have the 4700 lb GVWR - heavier than standard, and want to make sure the parts I get are equivalent to original. I hate to think that this will be my last Ranger, what with Ford discontinuing the model in the US. The big trucks are a lot more than I need. I hope to put off "upgrading" to a 150 as long as I can.
