Hey all! Been into mini truck for over 20yrs (mostly s10's) but picked up a 1997 B2300 this week for my 16yo son as a running driving project. I've been reading as much as I can about these trucks, what's interchangeable with the rangers and what's not. Did some searching and didn't find much except a few things here and there. What I've gathered, 1. the grill/headlights aren't interchangeable without swapping the core support, hood, fenders, lights, grill ect. 2. The tail lights aren't interchangeable without a bed swap. All things we will consider in time. For now, I was hoping to find more pics of lowered rangers/b series and what kind of aftermarket/customs things are being done to these trucks. Right off the bat I have to put in a seat belt buckle (missing), replace the blend door actuator and blend door (wore out), possibly new door handles and or cables (hard to open doors), replace the headlights, corners and tail lights (almost every lens is cracked) and maybe a grill or build our own billet grill. Otherwise, looking forward to learning more and teaching my son how to wrench on his first truck. (Pic is the first day we brought it home, haven't even cleaned it out yet. Digging into it this weekend)
