Looking for some input! please help!

hey guys,

New member from NJ, looking for some input and pics. i have a 2005 ranger xlt 2wd extended cab totally stock except for some audio/video mods and tinting. Im interested in getting the 15x10 black rock dune series wheels for my truck with possibly grabber at2s but i dont have a lift or anything and i cant afford one, id just like the wheels to look aggressive and fill the wells without rubbing. any suggestions/opinions on that?

i dont know what size tire to get, what size would fill the wheel well without rubbing? the rims have a -38 offset with a 4" backspacing. btw, do you think the 15x10 will stick out much? i dont plan on lifting my truck.

If you don't plan on lifting it, then I would stick with a 15x8 rim. You are gonna have a hard time finding a wide enough tire to fit a 15x10 without looking retarded that won't also be so big/tall that it rubs. Get 15x8's with a 30x9.5 or at most a 31x10.5 tire. BTW body lifts are really inexpensive.

4 inches or less. Less backspacing will make it stick out further... 3.5-4 inches is pretty common. Mickey Thompson classics I think are 3.25".

Okay, i know i keep changing it up on you guys but if i decide to just stick w stock 15x7 ranger wheels would a set of 30x9.5 gt at2s rub at all without the t-bars cranked and without a lift?

Your 2wd, You don't have torsion bars.

Stay safe and don't go bigger than a 31" tire.

Okay, i actually believe im getting the 15x8 ultra crusher wheels with 30x9.5 at2s. the rims have 3.74" backspacing and -19 offset and according to american racing that is a good size rim. You guys dont think that size tire will rub with those rims, will they?

you should be fine. if at anything you'll rub on the swaybar at full lock but thats not a big deal.

If you had a ranger edge 2wd you'd have tbars but since you're an XLT you dont.
