Welcome to the forum

What are you asking?

Go ahead and cut it out, won't hurt or help as far as performance, will of course be louder
You should extend the pipe out the side or to the back of the vehicle or exhaust fumes will be sucked up because of the low pressure above the vehicle, and you will probably start smelling fumes in the cab

Well that could be a problem

System should be like this: https://images.wrenchead.com/Smartpa...MER/100655.jpg

2455 being the muffler

The exhaust coming out of the Cats will be VERY HOT, as it should be, they "cook" the exhaust to clean it up
The muffler quiets the exhaust and also cools it down

And you are thinking of just blowing those HOT gases onto rear shock, e-brake cable, brake lines, probably not the best move

You will need to put on a pipe after taking out the muffler, to either patch pipe to existing tail pipe, best thing, OR a bent pipe and hanger to send it out the side
