I’m not new to ford trucks by no means. But this is my first Ranger, and only
My second gas powered truck. I’ve had a 99 F250, 2000 F350, 2007 F150, a 94 Explorer, 92 and 79 Foxbody, A 2002 v6 Mustang, and now a 99 Ranger. It has a few problems, but I have big plans for this little guy. Going to get all the small kinks worked out of her, and up in the air she goes!

I am 25-years-old, working 50+ hours a week in a manufacturing plant. I work as a machine operator, and part time in shipping and receiving when needed. I like turning wrenches and hunting when I’m not working. Never been a guy who likes red, but this one hit me and grew on me hard.

My Ranger is a 1999 Ranger XLT Flareside Extended Cab, bright red. She is nearly a base model, which is exactly what I wanted. Manual locks and windows, no cruise control, no tilt steering.

The plans with her is to add a level and 3” body lift with 33’s. A 5.0 Swap, which I already had most of the parts for prior to buying the Ranger. 08-11 front end swap, flareside to style side bed swap. Several other cosmetic things. Going to put a camper top on her for when I go on long hunting and fishing trips.
