For my son in Afghanistan
Hi everyone, I've been charged with fixing up my son's 2004 Ranger Tremor while he's overseas in Afghanistan. I really want to supercharge it for him. It's a 2wd Tremor with a 3.0 liter engine. I've seen alot of stuff about a Whipple Supercharger kit for it, but I can't find one. Does anyone know where I can find one? Or, is there another kit I can put on this truck? I really need some help finding a way to supercharge this truck for him. If anyone deserves to have his truck 'Overhauled' he does. He's a combat medic and has watched his roommate get blown up by an IED. I really need to find a way to do this for him. Can you guys help me fix up this truck? Thanks!!!!

Tom Morana Racing Engines
That site has some supercharger parts and pieces so you can bolt one on. Whipple went out of production at least 2 years ago, you can still find them used places occasionally.
Godspeed to a safe return for your son.

If you are mechanically inclined or willing to drop some $$(since you're interested in buying a whipple), you should either swap in the larger 4.0 SOHC ranger engine or do the extra step and swap in an explorer 5.0(theres a forum dedicated to this).
The 3.0 whipple is comparable to the 4.0 SOHC. The 5.0 from an explorer swapped in is faster than both.
Good luck
