Ok so I have a 1997 ranger 2.3L 4x2 automatic. Last week the transmission extension housing broke into pieces and I lost all forward gears. I bought an automatic transmission from a friend that came out of a 94 ranger and when I got it put in I realized that the plugs on it are different from the plugs that were on my old transmission. The old transmission used the plug that I have attached in a picture and the transmission I have now has a plug port that is more oval shaped and only has like 3 or 4 prong ports. Can anyone please tell me what wires I should disconnect from the old plug to connect to the new port? Also, I was told the old transmission had like 6 solenoids in the valve body but the new 1 only has 1 solenoid in the valve body Plug that went into the old transmission
