Have a 99 Ranger 2.5L. This is list of what parts i have changed. And my truck is Still running Rich.
MAF.
AIR FILTER
PLUGS WIRES AND COIL PACKS.
FUEL INJECTORS
IAT SENSOR
EGR VALVE
FUEL PUMP
PCV VALVE
ALSO Smoke tested vacuum. Good. Fuel pressure test. Good.
New Timing Belt after it Broke.
IT Runs Rough and Of course burning lot of Gas.
Does anyone have any suggestions for me. Its been driving me crazy for months. Po172 is only code. Now.
Now the Fuel Injectors that i bought were cheap.
They are working. But Im not sure how to understand short term and long term fuel trim to know if the parameters are correct.
