New to FORD

Hey there I am new to the ranger community. I am a Chevy man but I found a good deal on my ranger that I could not pass up. It is a 2000 xlt supercab stepside 2x4 with the 3.0 v6 mated to a 5 speed with only 150,000 miles. I am looking at getting some new tires for the winter but idk what I could run with stock suspension. I was told I could put 31’s on it but I’m not sure, I wanted to know ya’ll guys opinion first.

Welcome to the forum

No, not 31's for sure

2000 2WD might take 30" but 29" would be safest bet
Regular 2WD models were 27.5" so even the 29" may rub in some instances

The 4WD models that year came with 29" to 30.5" and they had 1.5"-2" lift on suspension over the 2WDs
