New to the forum

I'm retired, into traveling (usually by motorcycle but also RV's), have several vehicles and just picked up a 2002 Ranger to cut gas costs from my other gas guzzlers. This little truck with the 3.0l gets over 19 in the city and almost 23 on the highway, which is a lot better than my RV's and my dually. Not quite as good as the bike, but almost half way there.

I got a good deal on it, since someone had backed into the front and busted up the plastic, which I repaired and put it all back together.

I have a 2005 Ford Ranger 4x4 Edge. I'm installing a 2 1/4 " front torsion lift in the front. I want to put the biggest, widest tire on my truck as possible. I was thinking about the new Goodyear Duratrac. Anybody know how big I can go? Also, I love the look of the "Wagon Wheel" rims. People say they rust and to stay away from them. I'm in the rust belt of Detroit after all. Any suggestions on how to beaf up the stock look on a tight budget.

Thanx for the welcome. Glad that you liked that photos. Now to get back to the truck and change out the driver's door regulator and the rear sliding window and that should have it done for now. Opps, forgot ... I have to replace the spare that got stolen this past week while I was at a motel in Columbus, OH, the night before a funeral.
