New to the forum. I just bought a 2000 extra cab ranger xlt, I wasn't looking for a ranger but it was a good price. I bought it knowing that it needed some work, I've only had it registered for a week but in that week Ive replaced the rear brakes and found out the engine has a knock, seems as though the person before me put thick oil in it to cover the knock so when I put the factory recommended in it started knocking so it is def a work in progress I just wasn't planning on replacing the engine. I also had to replace the drivers door, fender , and marker lt, but I'm open to any suggestions someone might have for my truck
