Hey all,

Some of you may recongnize me from thrrangerstation.com, i joined there back in November-ish.

My name is Gary, I got my Ranger back in September. I bought it for a steal from my boss. It is an 89 STX, manual trans, 4x4. Im really liking sitting up high and driving a truck. Before this i had a 2001 Mustang that was show quality and strip ready. But i got tired of repairing it and everything cost a boat load for it!

Now that its warming up outside, and that i cant sit still, ive been out in the garage tinkering around and doing quite a few things to my 89 STX.

First, ive sanded down my rusty door jams and put a few coats of flat black rustoleum, same with the lower part of the doors them selves.

ive made my doors removable, which i think is the best thing i could have done, and it was super easy too...





ive removed my ash tray and installed a cobra CB radio and mounted the mic in my reach...



and mounted and ran my antenna...

yeah i bought it from my boss, i am the 3rd owner. it spent the first 11 years of its life in Colorado. my boss' brother bought it new. then my boss' son bought it, then it sat for 3 years before i bought it. so i didn't see very many harsh IL winters...
