Hello fellow members. Just wanted to introduce myself since I just picked up my first Ranger for a DD. It is a manual 1995 Ford Ranger white with grey interior and a 2.3L 4 cylinder. I don't have any pictures of it yet but it's all stock with a topper. I look forward for an excellent experience on this forum.
My weekend car is a 1997 SC400. Here's some pics of the weekend warrior...
Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I just ordered some lowering ibeams, blocks, and flip kit. I know a lot of people like to lift but in my case I like to lower. I'll post more pics when I get it installed but right now I'm debating on wheel selections.
I just got the fronts installed and will be doing the rears soon...maybe this weekend. This is all new to me as I'm use to doing coilovers or strut designs. I'll post a pic as soon as I get it done pretty exciting stuff. I forgot how much of a drag it is to work on MN cars because the nuts and bolts were so rusted I had to use a torch.
Wow the rears suck more than the front. I cannot get the bolt out of the shackle that holds the leaf spring in. Looks like I'll have to cut them out....ugh not looking forward to it.
It's been a really long time now and I've been through several vehicles but the Ranger will never leave me. Here is how it currently sits. The Ranger is down now due to no brakes. I sprung a leak in the brake line coming out of the master cylinder running into what seems to be some power assist canister that leads into the intake manifold. If anyone has any tips on where to get this replacement line let me know I want it back on the road as soon as possible.
