New Guy from Texas.

Just got a 1999 extended cab XLT Flareside 3.0, manual everything. This is my second, first 1 totaled it like 13 years ago me being a dumb kid. So I finally been able to get another one now that I’m an adult lol. The interior is not in good shape but the body is in excellent shape, minus the color.

Don’t want to do much under the hood since I plan on swapping out for a 302.

So I want to do a full interior overhaul. Good thing is that there is a lot of YouTube videos about it.
But I can seem to find if the thin trim that’s around the backseat windows is replaceable????
Oh and I only have 1 key.

Welcome to the forum

1999 is a good V8 swap Ranger, speedometer signal comes from rear axle and GEM, so one less issue to deal with

You do need to have a spare key, just in case
Least expensive option is to have your working key Cloned
Most locksmiths can do this

So about the rear side windows, is there some way to replace the trim that goes around it. It’s starting break.

So its the rubber gasket thats breaking not a "trim" piece?

LMC truck shows replacement gasket on this page: https://www.lmctruck.com/1983-11-for...ber-components
