hi all!

i just recently picked up a less-rusty 4x4 2002 ranger 4-dr extended cab/access cab/club cab(seems everyone calls it something different).

my dad's had a 2x4 '96 single-cab ranger since about 2000, so i'm mostly familiar with the truck and it's quirks.

new/different to me is the 4.0 motor(his is the 3.0), extended cab stuff, and 4x4 system.

i'll be mostly lurking and learning for a little while. the trucks got an airbag light, door ajar light, sticking rear passenger door, and terribly dry-rotted tires currently. i've already found some info on the door ajar issue, and am borrowing a scan tool soon to dig into the airbag system to figure out what's going on there later on.

otherwise i'm planning on turning it into a reliable daily driver and general workhorse i know the truck is capable of becoming!
