hi, I,m Vic and live in the UK. Having trouble with my 2008 XLT pickup. The rotating heater fan switch has stopped operating and I wondered if this is a fault that any other member has had and can advise me of a solution before I start to remove the facia panel.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Does it fail to operate on ANY speed, or does it function on HIGH only? If it works on HIGH only, then your problem is the blower motor resister which is mounted to the HVAC box at the firewall under the hood. Now, since you are from the UK, you have right hand drive... so the location is probably opposite of the US models. If no speed setting functions, it could be a fuse, the switch itself, or the blower motor. Check fuses first, then maybe test for power at the blower motor connector. HTH
