Yep..... I just picked up my 5th Ranger a couple weeks ago. I sold my '02 XLT w/216k miles and picked up an '09 XLT / 4x4 / 4.0 with a mere 68k on the odo.

Welcome to the forum

Good find
2009 will have the HEC digital dash, and Smart Junction box(SJB), this replaced the GEM as the body computer
And the less prone to failure 4x4CM(control module)

Just a heads up, plan on changing the two timing chain tensioners unless you have paper work that says they have been changed already
This should be done every 100k miles OR anytime you get a 4.0l SOHC vehicle so you can start the clock for the next 100k miles
4.0l SOHC was prone to tensioner failure and there are no warning signs, just "the rattle" after failure, and engine needs to be pulled out for the repair
Use motorcraft brand tensioners only

Swap around heater hoses at the firewall, you do this on any vehicle when you get it, then swap them around again any time you change coolant, so 2 to 5 years depending on coolant used
This change of flow direction helps to keep heater core cleaner so it lasts longer, and easy to do, and no loss of coolant, well very little, lol
