Good morning ladies and gentlemen, just picked up a 98 Ranger 4x4 XLT 3.0 with a manual(147k miles). My first car was a ratty Mustang, and a few years ago I had a 91 F150 4x4. In the past 30 years of motoring, the majority of my vehicles have been Toyota, Honda, and Subarus. This truck will be used for running to the landfill, Home Depot, and a complete redo of the landscaping in our recently purchased home. I am tired of beating up the interior of my 18 Pilot, so this truck will be handy. I really like the size of the Ranger, driving a full size truck in this town is a real pain since all the parking lots are sized for smaller vehicles. Spent yesterday cleaning up the paint and cleaning up the interior with my Rug Doctor. Tires, a ball joint and exhaust work will be the focus of this week.
