Good evening all, I m new to this forum and any forum now that I think about it. I bought me a 2000 Ford Ranger 4.0 when I got out of the service in 2006. She had 38,000 miles on her and as of today she has 252232 miles. My wife wanted me to get rid of her when we welcomed our new daughter to the family but I just couldn't do it. I ended up getting a 2017 Toyota Tacoma to accommodate the wife and kept the Ranger as my hunting/fishing truck. I take her all over TN to hunt public lands and she does great! I joined this forum to meet other folks that feel the same way about their Rangers. As of right now she has a few minor issues and little bit of body damage (some girl hit my driver side) but still turns over every time. Only issue I would need some knowledge on is I m having intermittent AC issues. She blows cold air for like 30 minutes and then it's hot. I will turn it off for a few minutes and then turn it back on and it does it all over again. Clutch engage s too. Have not check pressure in/out. I have filled it up with refrigerant and the gauge is never in the red. Love this truck so much I bought the manual for it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
