My first was a '98 Mazda B2500. Loved that truck, got it up to 350,000 miles (it had 170k when I bought it), but I let it go after an accident. I missed it, and got another quite recently, a '97 Ranger, with a 2.3 engine, standard cab. Has only 160,000 miles and the engine runs well; its old owner replaced its radiator and water pump (but not the radiator hoses, which I replaced).
Problems are relatively minor. Its fuel gauge is stuck on empty, and the dome light won't turn off when the doors are shut (its fuse is pulled). I am in the process of replacing the driver side mirror (powered). The rear bumper is banged up. Soon as I get the title, tag, etc, I hope to get it on the road.
