I have been an ASE mechanic for over 40 years. I have run into a tough one. I purchased a 1995 Ranger with a 3.0 liter in it. The previous owner swapped out the engine with a 1998 3.0 liter. All that have work on Rangers know that is when Ford made a lot of changes. The PCM and tranny are the original equipment. I have to change the wiring harness to a 1995 along with the cam position sensor, and injectors. The 1995 runs on less fuel pressure. The thing floods with fuel every time we try to start it. I also posted on the cranks but will not start. The only thing that has not been changed is the TPS and EGR. Any ideas.
