New from tucson

Hello everyone. Picked up a 98 ranger 4x4 a few weeks ago. Has fiberglass fenders in front, small lift, 31s, front bumper, light bar, maybe a few more. I don't know. I'm wondering if anyone knows if 92 bedsides will fit on my 98. Thanks in Advance

Welcome to the forum

1983 to 1992 Ranger bodies were 2" narrower than 1993 to 2011

All Rangers used same length beds, 6ft, regular or supercab, and are interchangeable except for width, see above
Beds came in 2 versions, regular and step-side, step-side had narrower bed and tailgate

Regular cabs did have Long bed version, 7ft bed, the rear axle was moved 6" farther back on the frame so these beds won't fit on other models

The "bed sides" only, should be the same length but not sure if "lines" will match up from 1992 to 1998

Thanks for the information bud. It's just bedsides, but I'm getting a smoking Deal on them, so I guess I'll find out.

Nice Ranger

Paint it RED

Anyway the lines won't match up if you use a 1992 or earlier bed, seen here: https://dicksautoparts.com/images/F143946851.jpg

1993 and up seen here: https://d323w7klwy72q3.cloudfront.ne...8ag/CB9728.JPG

The Mazda B-series 1994 and up, have mini flares: http://images.hollandersolutions.com.../XKF/BA4/S.jpg

Thank you. And thanks for the tip. I picked them up for the low price of free. Top bodyline matches up, the bottom one doesn't at all. Oh well. Can't beat free.
