Newbie with a 04' Ranger

I recently got handed down a 04' Ford Ranger FX-4, with around 80,xxx miles on it. I used to daily drive a 3000GT VR-4, but Im trying to keep the miles off of it for the time being, and I always loved the Ranger so why not use it while its sitting there collecting dust. I was wondering what type of work is due at around the 100,xxx mark? Also it could be because the head unit is just dying on me, but the CD player now only reads actually CD's no mix CD's and you have to hit eject a few times before it actually spits the CD out all the way, so Im guessing just get a new head unit?

Ill try to get some pictures of it tomorrow during the day time.

Thanks.

Actually yea, Im guessing your Trent and if thats the case then yea I remember you also. I tore that POS of car I had first off all the down and sold everything off of it, found a great deal on a VR-4 and got that, but now that needs the VSS replaced and turbos, so I figured I would start driving the Ranger everyday and fix the VR-4 over the summer.

Also I live in the University area, go to school at UNCC.
