Hi, guess I'm supposed to introduce myself. I have a 2005 Ford Ranger XLT supercab 4x4 and four Border Collies, live in Northern Nevada.

I just joined up to learn what I might be able to safely tow, so far as small camper trailers. I've had this truck for probably 8 years and never tried to tow anything, don't even have a ball hitch on it right now. But I've been thinking my travels for sheep dog trials would be a lot easier if I was towing my own little camper and didn't have to pay Motel costs! Don't have a trailer yet, but I'm thinking.

By the way, the Aussie in the photo doesn't do sheep dog trials, it's beneath her.
