Howdy everyone.
Currently an 09 Sierra 4x4 owner. My pickup before that one was a 2001 Ranger 4x4. Great vehicle and I had it 8 years before someone turned right into a gas station from the left lane in a snowstorm. I tried to turn in with him but the pavement was too slick. I ended up crashing into one of the bollards at the gas pump and took an air bag to the face.
It was during the Obama bailout days so GM was practically giving their stuff away, I couldn't pass up the price, so please don't shoot me. I've had my Sierra 10 years now, and it's been a good vehicle but the next one will be a Ford again.
I still have the bed extender for my 01 Ranger, like new condition. Free to a good home, just come and get it.

Welcome to the forum
You can post your bed extender here: https://www.ranger-forums.com/classifieds-133/
During my early days, too long ago to mention, lol, I had both GM and Ford trucks, I found the GM trucks would nickle and dime me to death, starters and water pumps, dash ***** and window cranks(yes that long ago)
The Fords didn't, but when something did break it was usually something big, lol, so cost wise I guess it was about equal, except for the time putting in starters and water pumps
Now GM cars are a different story, for me any way, prefer GM cars to Ford cars

I know what you mean about the nickle and dime thing. It really wasn't bad at all until this past year. Since February of 2018 I've put a lot of money into it for shocks, struts, steering, transfer case, belts & hoses, tires. Nothing surprising after 150,000 miles. But just the same, I feel like I have to keep it a while longer now to get my money's worth. My next one will be an F-150.
