Performance exhaust

I would like to put a performance exhaust on my 2006 Ranger Sport but am having no luck locating any company that has one that will fit a Sport model. I first tried E-Bay, there were a lot that said theirs would fit, but when I asked if they were sure, that would e-mail back that theirs would not fit the Sport. I called Magnaflow and Dynamax and they both said they didn't make a system for the Sport and at this time had no plans to build one. I called Ford and was told the suspision was different on the Sport than a standard extended cab model. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

There is an exhaust section. As far as sport or non sport after 06 it was mainly an appearance package. The suspension isn't really different.

I have an MBRP kit and like it.

Personally I would buy a muffler of your choice on ebay or wherever and then have a local shop weld it in. Much cheaper and similar sound

THIS.

Assuming the OP has local custom exhaust shops. This ends up being cheaper most times as well. And it's exactly how you wanted it.

Mike...take a visit to your local muffler shops and get some quotes. Customer supplied muffler or shop purchased muffler. The end result likely will end up cheaper than any on-the-shelf system and it'll be totally custom. My cat back 2.5" in/dual 2.25" tailpipes Flowmaster Super 44 ran me about $275 all the way to the back.....and it's all tucked up nice and clean and hidden.....exactly how I wanted it to be.

And just as Morris noted, the Sport is just an appearance package. Those companies/sellers don't know diddily squat. I'd go so far as to say if you've got an X-cab, any off-the-shelf system for any 98+ X-cab will fit yours. From the last cat back they didn't change.
