Problems problems problems!!
Hey
I have a 06 Ford ranger wild track 2.5ltr parked it up over Xmas for two weeks running like a dream
started it last Monday and it’s idling extremely erratic rev needle dancing up and down occasionally it stalls straight after start up engine shakes are a bit brutal
but if I place my foot down on clutch it idles and sounds great remove my foot from the clutch all hell breaks loose it does this for a good 5-10 minutes once at a certain temp it idles better still a bit misfire occasionally it pulls back on me from 1st -2nd gear then away she goes
I have checked pump seems fine checked fuel for water none changed filter anyway checked and cleaned Maf (it was thick with dust)
Mon the diagnostic plug it’s an old style and I can’t get power to the odi reader with the extension
I’m just at my wits end as to what it is
bit long winded but any suggestions would be gratefully received

Welcome to the forum
We are in North America
You have a T6 Ranger, which we called International Ranger because they were never sold here and could not be imported
Try Australian Ranger forums, or South African, they are in English language and both only got the T6 Rangers
