Just made an account here, just to clarify things im a chevy guy and have never actually went out looking to buy a ranger 😅 but I like them. Iv had a 5 including the one I have now. Its a 05 xlt 4x4, first one iv seen thats an ex cab 2door. Is that original? Anyway, got it on trade and she has earned its name "The Ranger in Danger"..first,I met a car on a corner an they were way over the line it was a snowy morning an when I went to the side I hit a big hole, done 4 360s and into the ditch, halfton pulled me out. Then my axle snapped in a snowstorm. Thankfully I got it home before a plow got it or the cops as I was most definitely legal at that time.. 🤣 I got the 2nd rear end put in not knowing the air vent was plugged and it also had sat so the combination of those and low oil made it overheat, so it sat at my exs place. One night she decides to take a bat to the windshield and stuff, as well as pouring oil over the seats haha. So me an a buddy take his truck and as were driving we meet my truck on a flatdeck heading to the junkyard, luckily the guy knows me from buying my previous junk cars and I had the papers n keys, payed the $150 back to him that she sold it for (meanwhile I had $600 in parts plus tools inside) lucky for me I have a 06 parts truck(different running gear though)so I swapped everything out, grill bumper mirrors hood headlights fixed driver fender an door,in the process of finishing the passenger side floor front to back, then the box needs fixed and still need to swap windshields. Having transmission issues atm, lots of random other things to do as well like shackle n hanger, shocks, exhaust, idler, rear sliding window,Going to paint it black and orange when its ready, it was silver beforehand.
