My name is John Bledsoe. Just bought a 1995 Ranger XLT, 4x2 2-door supercab, 2.3L. I have some problems and questions, will try to find the right place to post.

welcome. note, always get the vehicle inspected (yes I know it costs $200) before you buy it, many of us have learned that the hard way.
