Had my '96 Splash since it had 0.4 miles on it. She's got 275k now and a few things are starting to complain. Have a slight rear end hum, the AC compressor is dead, and she leaks a small amount of oil. Of course, she needs some body work too, from someone backing into her in a parking lot. Other than that she's still going strong and gets the same gas mileage (19/24) that she did when she was new.
But, I'm thinking it's time to retire her from being a daily driver and turn her into a project vehicle. So that's why I'm here; to get info and ideas to resurrect my trusty truck and give it a second life.

Exactly, Ranger4.0!
I've had it since it was sitting in the dealer's showroom, and they were annoyed with me that it was the only truck on the lot I would buy, and they had to get it out of the showroom on an Easter Sunday afternoon. :D It's not worth much to sell it as-is, it will be more fun to keep it and tinker with it.
I'm hoping to find a good you-pull-it in this area for starters. Need to replace the tailgate and the front bumper.
