sweet deal

hey guys new to this forum but not new to rangers. ive always wanted one and a great opportunity came up and now theres a sweet blue 09 sport sitting in my drive way at only 19 years old. used to be my dads truck until he recently bought a 2011 ranger the exact same but fully loaded and i just gave him what the dealer was going to for the trade in. only problem with it is that it does that hesitation/jerk/hick-up thing but only when it snows. ive read some forums and they say it could be a MAF sensor problem. anyone have anyother ideas? ive got some plans already for it in the futer which may or may not include a supercharger and some 03 cobra svt wheels. open to suggestions throw me some ideas.

I had the same thing. I tried everything from blocking the intake, dielectric greasing the connector to blocking the grill.

Nothing helped.

Since it only did it when it snowed I would forget about it until it would sometimes die on me driving in the heavy stuff. Then I would tinker with it for a little bit, but shortly after forget.

Welcome. Not really sure of the hiccup you speak of but if you have some warranty left I would take it to the dealer next time it snows or does it and see what they say
