Where is drain for the cowl fresh air on 1996 ranger

I have a water leak when it rains _the leak is only on the passenger side running down the floor board _ there is a rubber firewall sound deadner on the back of the rubber_when you pull that out a little the sound deadner is all wet-some have suggested that the is a drain for the fresh air cowl and it might be plugged _ I NEED TO KNOW WHERE THIS IF THERE IS ONE THANKS DENNY942

There isn't technically a drain, just a hole, lol.

Read here on where that is: Wet floor, sloshing sound, no drainage from the wiper cowl --> fix - Ford Ranger Forum

But what you are describing reads more like windshield corner metal has rusted out and water is getting inside cab.
The windshield has a trough at the bottom where water collects and sits, it is not uncommon for it to rust out, and that water will leak into the cab.
To test for this dry out passenger side of cab as much as possible.
Cover cowl vents and run water down windshield on passenger side.
You should see water flowing inside fairly fast.

Fix is to pull out windshield and fix the trough.

Some have had luck with pulling off ALL the windshield trim pieces, then use caulk around the whole windshield so no water can get into the recesses around the windshield, then reinstall the trim.
You can't just do the bottom of windshield because water gets in at the top and sides while driving and will run down to the bottom and leak in
