Icon14 01+ conversion, prerunner bumper?

Not having the best of luck with my bumpers after the BL...Front one is scratched up some.....Can i put an 01+ powerdome hood on with the newer headlights, and fab a prerunner style bumper to fix the gap with no problem???

What will i need for the headlights and 01+ grill?
I know the hood will switch no problem

What do you need for a 94 to 2000+ conversion, I've always heard you need the fenders and weld-in a new rad support But I've never understood why.

You don't need a new hood, yours will work fine. You just need the header panel, grille and lights.

well my hood is crap, it has a bunch of small white dots on it, like its been through a hail storm....I want a powerdome hood anyways.....

So thats all just a hood, header panel grill and lights ok then...

will the lights wireup the same? I mean is it plug and play or what

I excluded the info on the hood in our pm's because you dont need to replace your hood to run the 01-03 grille and headlights. Don't need to swap bumpers either.

Maybe this'll satisfy what your after....

'98-00 with 01-03 swap and prerunner style bumper.....braddokxlt's truck

I meant the 93-98 fenders vs the 98+ fenders, Thats the biggest thing keeping me from a conversion on mine but whats the difference between them.

I am assuming that where the corners and headlights meet the fenders.

Buggest thing is the way the fenders are 'cut' on the bottom for the bumper and the corner lamps....all will need welded up/modded/blended etc if you want to run your stock fenders. I think something involving the entire front coresupport too needs to be address...then again, i havn't been researching the 01+ swap on a 97 and older truck.

Im not sure as to if the sockets will install to 01+ headlights but the bulbs are the same and as long as you just leave the 2nd blinker light in it will not blink fast. There has to be a resistor you could wire in and just get rid of it but i haven't seen anyone do it. But at the same time im not reading up on 01+ conversions.

HA, yeah i cant wait to do it....I been pricing this morning, Junkyards around here are A LOT higher than certifit...How does certifit work, i delivers to a local certifit dealer or something??

Also if ANYONE has any spare parts for cheap$$$ im looking to buy
1.) 01-03 Headerpanel
2.) 01-08 Headlights
3.) 01-03 Grill
4.) 01-03 Bumper w/ or w/o valance (changed my mind, might be a while till i can get a custom bumper, dont wanna go looking goofy)
