My buddy's stock 4.3 Jimmy beat my non turbo RX7...That was rather embarrassing.
Anywhoo, back on topic about the stripes...after looking at the pics, yeah I think it can be pulled off, but the truck needs to be lowered with some deep dish rims and fat tires. Any offroadability or work-truck capabilities need to be stripped in order to get it looking like a pure bad *** street truck.
What you're ultimately aiming for is to turn your truck into a Mustang GT pickup.

i had an na series 4 and a t2 series 4. i blew the motor on the t2 on the drive home after buying it. i had originally tried getting an FB GSL-SE, but when i came across the na fc, it was in good shape and low miles so i had to have it lol.

However Lazler, I think you need to drop the truck a little...make it sit like FX2.3's truck. He's got a really nice stance and wheel combo on his.

I like the scallop on the side. i dont particularly like the yellow and black, but since I like old skool hot rods and stuff, I've always liked scallops. Plus, doing black on his dark grey will look subtle. But if he keeps the truck stock height and stuff it'll look really lame...just like the one pictured.

That picture i did the 302 stripes on is an 08 version of mine.. i didn't have a picture with as much hood as that one so i did it from there.. but like i said I don't wanna raise it or lower it but i will be putting on cobra 17" black rims so it'll look good in the end. And what is wrong with a 4.6 in a ranger might i ask?
