Theoretically yes...I presume you'd have to adjust for the speed of the wheel rotating, but it then again you might not have to. This mod is WAY beyond my abilities, but I thought maybe someone here could make it happen.

when i was working at belle tire we got new wheel catalogs every month. anyway, there are wheels out there that you can load images from a computer and then when you drive 30 mph it displays on the wheel. I can't remember who made them, but they were rediculously expensive. Waaaay not worth it. Kinda cool though.

The aftermarket rim companies are ahead of ya, they now make rims which use LED's to create full color images. Lexani is the maker i believe, there was a post on the forums about them.

EDIT: NM someone said this already, nice video link btw.

a buddy of mine works for a local company that builds amusement park rides. they're looking into doing this. he was trying to explain it to me but it was pretty hard to understand what he was talking about lol.... thanks for the link! that helped out alot.

this was on tv, the company that made a unit for cars i think is based in the UK. its something like $280 for a set of 4 and the units are totally self contained. I think it was the science channel is where I saw it

If you put those on your car wheel wouldnt they throw the balance off on the wheel seeing there self contained, i mean its cool in some ways i suppose!
