Body lifts are cheap $200 another $60 for gap gaurds the difference in price in tires can't be much. You are only talking about $200 or $300 at most. Go for it I am.
Are you getting new rims anyway ? or what do you have now ? Stock rims are only 7 inches wide(at least mine are) and it is recommend not to go bigger then 10.5 wide tires.
