Cap.... what do you think??
id do it! i had one on my '93 ranger but it was a regular bed, i took it off every summer. i also agree that not all step sides look good with a cap, so im going to buy one and see what mine looks like being it stepside. if it doesnt look right i will sell it and get a bed cover
I love mine! When we go to ATV parks, everyone around me is sitting there for 30 min trying to figure out how their tent goes up. Then they spend another hour trying to put it together...drunk. lol Makes things easier and I can close my tail gate with my air mattress in it and be fully extended (I'm an even 6') with lotsa room for 2 ppl. Also towards the front of the truck there are 'shelfs' on both sides to put your cell phone etc.
Hottness (leaving mine black to go with my 'skunk' theme)

in NYC you had to have a cap on a pickup or it had to be registered as a commercial vehicle which maean no street parking overnight so i had one on my truck for a while... now i took it off its harder to get stuff out of the back with a cap on there.. mine sits in a garage and frankly if someone would give me $50 for it id sell it
Hi,
I would definetly get a truck cap, regardless of bed style. A truck cap keeps your stuff dry, and keeps you dry during a camping or offroading excursion. I have slept in the back of my two Toyota trucks, and I was comfy warm and dry. Get an inflatable mattress blankets and small battery operated fan and you are good to go.
