i have a great idea for those of us who have a 93-99 ranger without the passenger airbag and the hardplastic cover over the hole wherethe airbag shouldbe. if your looking fo acb mounting plce, with alittle fab work/imagination, you could center the hole the size of the front of the cb and flush mount the cb. i am going to do it on my ranger, i have a 97' ranger ext. cab, and i waspondering the place for my cb when bam! the idea came to me.. i will postpicts when i finish mine. I hope the idea works, i tink i would look prettysweet. Good Luck to ya'll and thanks for listening to my pondered idea.

I have since made it slightly smaller and moved it forward a little and rounded the edges on the aluminum after I smacked my head on it one day working in the truck

And it has actual mic holder now on the pass side of it
