CONVERTABLE TOP (hard top) of own truck?

CONVERTABLE TOP (hard top) of own truck?

I have 92 ford ranger single cab and i want to cut the top off to make a convertable, but i want to be able to use the top to put it back on when i dont want to be open top. does ent one ever done this befor? I would like to have some pictures of one thats already been done for a refrence. If eny one has a comment let me know.

Do a search on google I think you can still by hardtop convertible kits. I think they are called Ratical tops or something like that. Try this link http://www.truckn-store.com/product_list.asp?id=1759 they show a hard top kit and a soft top kit

Cool I cant wait to see some pics of the conversion. I haven't seen one of those removable hardtops like that since about 91 or so. I had a neighbor that had done the conversion on his 80 something S-10. It was awesome.

Did it to my B2200. Leaks real bad and I have tried EVERYTHING to fix it. Looks sweet when its nice out, but when it rains everything is wet and all the glass fogs up real bad. Good luck with your kit. I even used a kit from AIM industries. They are a big joke. Good thing my buddy got me a deal on it but I will never go that route again.
