Custom 06 Emblems
Custom 06 Emblems
After seeing Shane's custom 06 emblems, it got me thinking about doing a set myself.
Shane did the main part in DWB and used acetone? to clean the black letters off and left them chrome.
Anyone else modded their emblems?
I was thinking about doing it a couple different ways:
White base with either black lettering or chrome lettering
Black base with either white lettering or chrome lettering
Then maybe custom FX4 decal in style Trent does colored to match the decal on the bed.

I'm in the process of painting mine DSG and Red lol.. the chrome part will be DSG and the black ranger part is gonna be red.. i'm hoping it looks as good as shanes does.. after i'm done in the next week or so i'll post pics.
I found a picture of Shane's and his mod thread. https://www.ranger-forums.com/forum2...ad.php?t=60505

I know when I looked into moddin the emblems on my F150 I came across places that actually sell the vinyl decals for the letters on the emblem, which makes it alot easier to get the custom look just by painting the entire emblem and sticking the letters on after. Rather than fussing around with taping off the letters or using chapstick or whatever in the recess to not paint them. You don't have to worry about the paint chipping either. But my point is I wasn't sure if they were available for the ranger emblems, would make ur day alot easier.
