Double reduction

So who has this done, and what did you use. I am thinking of keeping the electronic box and mounting in another transfer case for EXTRA LOW Range. I was thinking of finding a donor jeep or something like the NP231 manual Tranny case. Anyone got info or help with this?

2 RBV transfer cases can be used together. Some companies use a shortened and modified BW1350 with either a second stock BW1350 or a BW1354.

so, do you HAVE to swap the 20 gallon fuel tank in the 95 ranger? I don't really want to do that! Also, what gears are in 4 Low on that 1350 doubler? Oh, and can someone please tell me what gear ratios are in the stock transfer case for the 95's? I think this is the way I am going to go for the extra Low range, but I will have to save some extra money for the Drive shafts and cross member relocations. Can't forget armor plating to protect the investment also.

The stock Ranger cases (BW1350 and BW1354) each have the same 2.48:1 ratio in low range. Multiplied together, that yields a 6.15:1 reduction ratio when the stacked boxes are both in low range.

ok, I am not really good with all the numbers and such. I am having Grewe02 help me with most of the 4x4 stuff since his knowledge is far superior to mine in this department. I am assuming that is a good number to have, right?

depends what your doing but that is a really good low low range, plus with a doubler you still have your 2.48 ratio also.
