How can you say illegal?
As long as he has red and amber bulbs he should be fine.

True never thought of that but most "ricers" have no reflectors. I'd get them drive around and see if you get plled over and if you do swap the OEM lights back in.

all the vehicle code states is that you have to have colored bulbs for the right things
red for brake
yellow or white for turn signals
and white for reverse... i dont see how they could have any reason to pull me over.. theyre just like NS'd tails but clear

IMO.... White is an ugly color anyway, especially on a truck. So the clear lights will contribute to the uglyness LMAO! Don't do it, you will regret it!

Are you sure you don't have to have some sort of rear reflector on your lights? I know most states are that way.

My LED L1224R bulbs will work perfect in those tails. You will also not be able to see any red when they are off.

Message me if you are interested in a pair, many many RF members have bought them from me and can vouch on their supreme awesomeness.

I would search for a red reflecting license plate surround. This will make you legal.

Do you have any that will fit my car? I need six of them haha.

And yes...I am pretty sure you need some sort of reflector. Hence the reason Mustangs have the reflector on the rear bumper cover.
