after searching for the error for some time and replacing all possible parts, I was at a loss. I filled all the connections between the hoses and the pipes with sealant, but the P0442 error kept coming back, so I took a can of matt black spray and sprayed everything, including the Y part from the tank to the pipe at the front, which is almost impossible to reach. Result after 800ML the error has not reappeared.
My car is a 2001 Ford Ranger with a 3.0L engine with 150000ML and I live in Germany.
