I agree, I do not see what the problem is with B/L's. I am sorry I didn't have the $1400-3000 for the suspension lift. I love my lift, I have no problems with it at all. I think it looks good and made my truck look meaner. I am getting a Superlift sometime and 33's, but I am very happy with what i have now.

I say get it Kasey, people that have them love them, people that don't hate on them. :D

well kasey, ryan has a BL and an add a leaf and the same size tires as you, i think they look fine, ive seen it in person. you can go ahead and do the BL now, and when you need new tires you can get bigger ones

ryan bought the tires off of my truck before i traded it, they are 32" Bridgestone Dueler AT REVOs. i loved them and so does ryan, very quiet, great in rain and on the highway, and pretty badass off road

Thanks Kasey and Bob. Yea, they rock. Great traction in everything, don't know about snow yet, we'll find out soon enough probably. I love em. I am thinking of getting them in a 33", but i haven't decided yet. They fill the wheel well pretty nicely.

i plan to bodylift my 98 4x4 before too long...all i want is my truck to be a little bigger and clear some bigger tires. I'm going to use the gap gaurds and get some nerf bars/side steps, with those two things the truck looks just fine(seen it before, it looks damn good actually). In my opinion it just comes down to home much money your willing to spend to be able to say "i have a suspension lift".

PS - as for everyone saying just crank your torsion bars more blah blah blah...my torsion bars are cranked just enough to make the front and rear level, and now 3 of 4 ball joints are destroyed. i was quoted at almost $700 to install new ones(all four), and thankfully the guy who does work for my whole family quoted me at $500(once again all four). 500 bucks would be a pretty big dent in my wallet and needless to say put my lifting and bigger tires plans outta buisness. Luckily i have loving parents who consider 4 new ball joints on my truck a helluva christmas present

I would leave it as is. I'm not into raising or lowering and i think the lift on the Edge's are perfect.

Would you also plan on spending the money to move up your pipes after the BL if you raise the rear bumper?

My dream lift kit from RCD cost over $2,200. But i've only heard good things about it.
