Gibson or Magnaflow. I have a Magnaflow catback on my truck it's a 4.0.

I found this video of a 3.0. I think it sounds good.

For a real good sound I like the Borla mufflers, and if you want it a little louder Flowmaster.

Jake, did you have that exhaust modded? Or is it just the muffler? I couldn't find the kit

It's stock until the last cat. I have that one gutted (not any real difference) then the pipe's bumped up to 2.5" then is expanded even more to fit the flow40 si/do. After the muffler it's back down to 2.5" and then two 4" stainless rolled tips. I have maybe 3 inches of 2.5" pipe in the tips (tips are 18"). That's my exhaust.

And it is the 3.0

Shatten789, only reason I didn't post it is because that sounds mostly the intake humming, metal ones are louder, but put CAI on any truck and you can hear that inside and out. The inside noise of a CAI on my truck is actually quite nice. I forgot that I never uploaded the fly by from the rear, I got that coming on youtube........takes a little while.

Ha ha, well thanks for the compliments.

The only word of advice I have for those wanting a deep sound.........Go with 4" tips. That's the biggest difference in sound I noticed. I used to have 3" slant-tips and they were alright, but they got too small for the size of my truck, they looked like straws sticking out the back. So I went with 4" and it's much deeper now.

Haha no probs. If you ever want to get rid of those spindles, I know the perfect place. Did punching out the last cat throw a CEL?

I have Bassani exhaust, It didn't sound so good at first but now that its broken in in sounds better and looks cool. I don't have any soundclips that represent it well but it is moderately loud.

So I'll get a 40's series si/do do 2.5" pipes to 4" tips (roughly 18" long). I have a 4.0 so it should sound the same as your 3.0 or better?
