Icon7 FX2 SPORT Decals

I'm thinking about adding the 08 F-150 FX2 Sport decals to my ranger, I went by the dealer today and looked thru their trucks and found a DSG 150 with the decals, and they look good, so I'm thinking I'm gonna add these since I didn't like the ranger sport decals...

-can a ford service person poss. give me a part # on these? I hate to just call and have to haggle with the man behind the counter...

I can see Type-R being ghey b/c a type are is totally diff than your reg civic, they have beefed up engines, diff. body parts, and interior too... geeze... I think the sport stickers look like a**...

If you go for that look then hell yeah!

*EDIT* Your pic didnt work for me so I didnt know it was the same f150.. still thats the look you should go for if you put the FX2 SPORT

I call my truck the FX2.3 but never got a fancy decal made just simple text on the sides.. 2.3 for the engine size and FX cause lift, skid plate, 31" BFG's.. know thats no where near an FX4 so it's FX2.3!

No need to get all worked up. That was just my opinion (remember you made this thread asking for opinions), it's still your truck and the decision is ultimately yours.

To elaborate on what I was saying however... The FX4 is built to be more offroad worthy than your average 4x4. An FX2 should (just my humble opinion) be built to be more offroad worthy than your average 2WD.

well yeah my 4x2 comes with a off-Road suspension aka Torsion Bars, I know I'd need bilstein shocks, tow hooks, and A/Ttires, but I mean I don't need that stuff on such a new truck, it'll come when I need to replace things... heck after whats happened recently I'm done buying anything online... I seem to get screwed over...

After tonight this threads over, I'm not adding the decals, I'm not wasting my $50 bucks on decals... I've come to my senses... = ME Last Week

FX2 SPORT What is off road about a Sport truck? I say yes, your truck is already a "Sport" this is just a sticker off the F150 equivalent to your truck...

Once again:

FX2 = Sport

FX4 = Off Road

Those people who made the FX2 Off Road Decals did so before Ford introduced the FX2 F150s...

I think it would look cleaner without the stickers. I think the stickers add to much clutter to the vehicle. But if thats what you wanna do to your truck then who are we to say you can't?

Heres some on ebay for fairly cheap.

I don't mean to be offensive, but your truck isn't, at first glace, "offroad truck".

It's really nice looking but in my opinion, as soon as you get agressive tires, you've made a big step in "offroad category".

Your wheels look really nice anways.

On the other hand, throw on an FX2 sticker! It can't hurt. But you touch an FX4 sticker and I'll hunt you down :-D

The only person that I can think of with level 3 stickers on their truck is Bob and his truck damn sure deserves it.

I vote yes and no. Yes I woudl put an FX2 sticker on my truck if I were you, but no I wouldn't use one off of an f150. If it is the same size as the FX4 sticker (Which it looks like it is) It will be wayyyyyyyyy too big for a ranger. Maybe buy one and get it scanned. then return it and have a sticker company make a scaled down version.
