You don't want a glass pack on your truck...

If you really want to do it, you can replace your muffler with a glass pack. Or you could replace your muffler with a Flowmaster :)

I had glasspacks on my 3.0, I wouldn't reccommend them to anyone and no they won't mess anything up. I say go with a flowmaster or magnaflow, doesn't matter what size engine you have.

+1

Glasspacks sound like *** even on a v8. Since you are a 4banger i'd go with borla or madnaflow. It'll probably sound the best out of all your options. I've had glasspacks on 2 different vehicles and i'll never do that again!

I have a glasspack on my 4.0 and it sounds more or less the same as my factory muffler lol
I'd definatly switch it out to a magnafow, flowmaster or something of the likes.
on the plus side, glasspacks are dirt cheap. I picked up my cherrybomb for 29.99.
It won't mess anything up and you can just weld it right in the place of your current muffler

glasspacks sound like crap depending on what vehicle theyre on.
i have true duals with glasspacks on my gmc and have a glass pack with dumps on my ranger. i like the way both sound. its all a matter of preference.
i also had a glasspack on my old 2.0 ranger and it sounded it good.
wasnt to loud and definately wasnt ricey.

me and black-n-blue both have glasspacks on our trucks, mines a 3.0 and his is a 4.0, everyone that has heard the clips of our trucks says they sound good so i guess people are just tryin to make us freel good or glasspacks arent as bad as they seem.
