I think I figured out what to do with my old Ranger emblems. I was thinking of mounting them to the side of the Explorer console. See the photo for my idea



I was thinking of mounting it on the long flat portion close by the dash. It's an idea only, but I figure it might not look all that bad. All feedback appreciated.

i took mine and made a license plate..ford logo off the grill..since i went billet and ranger emblem and a RF sticker..looked good until i took my front plate off (:

In the photo, look at the console and the area where the ashtray lid is. The one end of the insignia would go there, the other end would extend to the area under the dash.

 

It might look cool for a while, but you'll get tired of it and it will be to busy.

 

I too think it would busy it up too much. I say it looks best just the way it is

 

i'd be afraid someone would kick it on accident.. or while driving.. the passenger would rest their foot on it somehow, and break it off.

 

Hmm, ya, these are ideas I've pondered. Hmm, I don't know what do do with them aside from making a license or something, and that's somewhat old. Well, I'll think of something I guess.

 

sell them on ebay and buy a cheeseburger with your earnings, much more rewarding.

 

Put em on your PC or laptop.

 

I think it may look kinda cheezy

 

throw them on a wall somewhere in the garage or something... or give them away to someone on here looking for a set. i ended up giving mine away (paid shipping and that was it)... i didn't think of anything cool to do with them cause i hated the looks of them, lol.

 

I have mine sitting on my window sill right infront of me.

I may cut the tabs off an stick them to my tool box or maybe even one of my golfcarts.
