Headlight mod with a twist?

So whats everybody think about doing something like this? I would match the headlight rings to my paint just like I have my KC covers.

I think if done right itd be really nice...maybe like use a sponge brush to get just the right amount of paint. And use high heat paint. Itd be a small touch, which sometimes makes things a lot better.

My plan will be to use, adhesion promoter then, primer then use touch up paint to make the red rings, May just have to give it a shot, these are spare headlights anyway so might as well try something cool.

i dont know about this one... i think this will be the kind of mod that needs to be done so we can see the actual results. i think the idea and execution of this can become a very nice mod if done in a tasteful way

well got them unmasked, over all I like the look, they need some touch up but overall I am happy with how they look. I tried 2 different methods of masking and the second way worked much better. heres some pictures

sill working on the lenses so don't mind the haze.
